How do I list a product?
Selling on Orsetto is simple and secure – and we guide you through every step. Our platform walks you through the entire process so your product is well-presented and reaches the right buyers quickly.
Tip
Videos can also be added later, but they cannot be removed or changed after publication – so choose carefully.
Purchase Methods
A good photo says more than a thousand words. Upload at least one clear, well-lit photo (you can add up to 10).
Want to stand out even more? Add a short video to showcase your item's details and build trust with buyers:
• 0–10 seconds: 4.90 CHF
• 10–20 seconds: 8.90 CHF
• 20–30 seconds: 12.90 CHF
Title and description: Clarity is key
Choose a concise, accurate title (up to 80 characters) and write a detailed description (up to 5000 characters). Be honest about the item's condition and include key details.
Our system will suggest a category for you, but you can change it anytime.
Sales options: Flexible for your needs
• Auction: Set a starting price and optionally add a "Buy Now" price. Buyers can bid or purchase immediately.
• Buy Now (Fixed price): Perfect for items you'd like to sell directly. You can also allow price offers, letting buyers make their own proposals.
Timing and duration: Full control
You decide when your listing goes live: immediately or scheduled (up to one month in advance).
• Auctions: 1–10 days duration
• Buy Now: 7, 10, 30, 60, or 90 days
Exclusive to Orsetto:
• Custom end time: Not only can you choose when your auction starts, you can also set the exact end time.
• Automatic relisting: If your item doesn't sell, it can automatically be relisted up to 9 times, and you decide how many relistings (from 2 to 9) suit you best.
Shipping or pickup: Your choice
Offer shipping, pickup, or both – whatever works for you. Buyers will see these options clearly when placing their order.
Boost for maximum visibility
A Boost feature puts your listing front and center, helping you reach more potential buyers quickly.
• Price: 9.90 CHF per listing
• Pay once – no extra fees for relisting.
Good to know
Boosts and videos cannot be removed or changed after your listing is published. All fees are charged only once per listing – even if it's relisted multiple times.
