How can I buy something?
Getting started as a buyer on Orsetto is simple: all purchases are made directly on the respective product page. The requirement is that you have verified your email address and phone number.
Purchase Methods
There are three ways to purchase a product:
1. Buy Now
– With one click on the "Buy Now" button, you accept the listed price and the product is yours.
2. Make an Offer
– For fixed-price items, you can, if activated by the seller, submit your own price.
- • Max. 3 offers per item and max. 3 items per day
- • The seller can accept, reject, or make a counter-offer (up to 3 rounds)
- • Offers are valid for a maximum of 2 days
3. Auction
– You bid on a product starting at the opening price with the set increment steps.
- • You can set a maximum bid, and the system will bid automatically on your behalf
- • In the last 3 minutes, the auction time is extended by 3 minutes with each new bid
- • When the auction ends, the highest bidder is obligated to purchase
Tip
A cancellation is only possible if both parties agree.
Payment & Processing
- • Payment and delivery take place directly between buyer and seller – Orsetto itself does not process payments.
- • Buyers are obligated to pay the purchase price within 14 days after winning an auction or using Buy Now.
Security & Communication
- • Communicate exclusively through Orsetto to avoid fraud.
- • Personal data (phone, email, IBAN) should only be exchanged after a successful purchase.
- • Sellers are obligated to ship the goods within a reasonable timeframe after receiving payment.
Tip
Once the rating phase begins, both parties can rate each other.
Good to know
You will receive automatic notifications about acceptance, rejection, counter-offers, and auction results.
